Customer Testimonials

My Expectations were more than Exceeded

I recently arranged for Don to polish our timber floors in a 1970s house after stripping away the “lovely” floral carpets to reveal hardwood timber untouched before. Being a novice I had to entrust the work to someone who was competent and dedicated to achieving the same high quality and finish that I expected.

My expectations were more than exceeded and I am excited at the end result.

Don was prompt in his measure up and I was pleased with the price – well within our budget. He was extremely flexible to work in with my timeframe which was somewhat tight so that we could move in to the new house that we had purchased.

Queensland Classic Flooring is at the top of my list for a recommendation for any floor polishing that you are contemplating – thanks again Don!

Extremely Impressed with the Quality

I have been using Queensland Classic Flooring on my renovation projects since 2008.  I have been extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship that Don ensures with every aspect of sanding and polishing timber floors.

My clients have been delighted with the new lease of life that shines through his polished floors. Many clients have contemplated covering or replacing some very old floors but with my persuasion to allow Don to lend his experienced hand to their floors they have been astonished at the end result bringing the timber back even better than its former glory. Even more delighted are they at the savings achieved with Don’s competitive pricing.

I cannot recommend highly enough using Queensland Classic Flooring on your next renovation project.

Floor Maintenance

You have just had your timber brought back to life by Queensland Classic Flooring and Don has a few tips on how to preserve that beautiful finish for longer with just a few basic maintenance tips.

  • Use a static mop or soft broom to pick up loose dust
  • Mop floor with moist or wet mop from bucket of warm water and cap full of metholated spirits or light detergent
  • Put felt pads on table and chair legs to protect the floor from scratches
  • Use dirt trapping mats at all exterior doors to minimise dirt, sand and grit that might be brought inside
  • Wipe up spills and leaks promptly with a dry cloth or dry paper towel. For sticky substances, moisten the cloth slightly
  • Wait 2 weeks before laying rugs
